Journey4YOUth is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that currently works beside a community in Rusinga Island, Kenya. Their vision is the desire to live in a world in which we all take responsibility for the well-being of each other; where the poor can be empowered, the hungry are fed, the children educated and the sick and lonely cared for. They commitment for all people, is to live in a world in which people believe that the health of the land is directly related to the health of the people.
“If your plan is for one year plant rice.
If your plan is for ten years plant trees.
If your plan is for one hundred years educate children. ”
Journey4YOUth's vow is on long-term solutions and education.
While the work on the ground is primarily in Africa, their hope is to create a worldwide movement of people who dedicate themselves to helping their neighbors. Through the sponsorship program of Journey4YOUth, they provide free education, a school uniform, and a pair of shoes to over 100 children in Kaswanga Village, Kenya. They also provide special needs sponsorships, Secondary Scholarships and University Scholarships.

Rainwater Harvesting with Journey4YOUth
Give the Gift of Clean Water
Gift an older widow with a 3000 liter rain water tank and gutters.
This tank will be filled after just two rains and provide clean and disease free drinking water to the family. Clean Water that doesn’t require hours of collecting and carrying. The total cost to purchase a 3000 L tank and have it installed is $500. This doesn't seem like much when we consider the impact it will have on a families life. Yet this is a lot for one person to give, but spread out over a few people that can give a little, a huge impact can be made. Perhaps you will consider asking your friends/family/coworkers to give the gift of water as well and help you install a rain water system for a widow in Kenya.

A system of aquaculture in which the waste produced by farmed fish supplies
nutrients for plants grown hydroponically, which in turn purify the water.
The Essential Way
With our constant commitment towards education and practice of The Essential Way, we not only physically help, but also Spiritually by installing the daily use of the Seven Essential Elements.
With the new breath of each day, try with all that is to put into practice these important Essential Elements; Calmness, Compassion, Kindness, Forgiveness, Gratitude, Love and Mindfulness. Think about each of these words and what they mean. Receive the all of what is being said and feel the power and compassion they exude. If we hear and feel them enough, maybe the way of the 7 Essential Elements will thrive and spread towards complete freedom and peace for all.
1. the normal, nonwaring condition of a nation, group of nations, or the world.
2. a state of mutual harmony between people or groups, especially in personal relations:
3. freedom of the mind from annoyance, distraction, anxiety, an obsession, etc.; tranquility; serenity.
4. make peace, to ask for or arrange a cessation of hostilities or antagonism.
